In between the endless dull and dreary, rainy, days of late October and November I managed to find a little sunlight filling up the trees around Niagara. And a shopping cart.
When I saw the shopping cart in front of Food Basics on Welland Avenue I knew, as Leonard Cohen once wrote, “God is alive, magic is afoot.”
Driving and walking around Niagara I am constantly amazed at how much beauty I am surrounded by. I am reminded of my very important connection to nature and “empty” space. Never underestimate the healing power of empty space.
It was hard in this post to limit the pictures of leaves lit by fall sunlight, framed by blue skies, it always amazes me.
The pictures contained in this post come from largely three trips- one to downtown St. Catharines, one to the Bunting and Welland Ave area in St. Catharines and another to Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Last but not least, this fantastic tree located near Pelham that I grabbed a few shots of yesterday.
