We’re back to finish our look at the music, the events, the people and their dreams, the music, of 1986. We talk the trials and tribulations of flight, from balloons to space shuttles. We talk about the trouble with seeking closure in an ambiguous world, the myths attached to Hailey’s Comet and the peril’s of being King of France in the early 1800’s and choosing to work in half measures. We also look at the Sears Wish Book from 1986, diving into the decadence of NFL pin sets, silk robes, binoculars and desk/wall mountable telephones.

Of course, central to the exploration of all that’s 1986 is rummaging through its’ musical zeitgeist. Part 2 of Which Brings Us To… provides music from the likes of Felt, Chameleons UK, Elvis Costello, The Go-Betweens, Schooly D, Cameo, New Order, The Smiths, The Mr T Experience and much, much, more.
