Donuts and Ducks: More Winter Photography

March 2, 2019 by Darren Clarke

When it comes to taking pictures there is no way I am ever going to pass up a giant donut. There hasn’t been a whole lot to make me want to get out of my car this winter but a giant donut? That I am getting out of my car for every damned time.

I also bounced by Charles Daly Park in Joran on my way back from the all-devouring Metropolis of Toronto and got some pics along Lake Ontario.

The duck in the middle of the ice kind of confused me- Aren’t they supposed to be somewhere warm? But, he seemed pretty content out there.

This is of course not the first time I have photographed La Grande Hermine. Tried to get it from a few different angles.

These last pics include the bandshell at Charles Daly Park and one of the last remnants of the stuff around Prudhommes Landing which, like everything else in Southern Ontario, is currently being turned into condos.
